Jane Vance's Photography

I have many cameras, well about 20, which is probably more than the average person, but perhaps not that many for somebody who would count themselves as a collector of such items. Every now and again one takes my interest, and I will use it until I get frustrated by not being able to attain the desired result, and I move on.

I have never seen myself as a photographer, I am more someone who experiments in photography. I am interested in the mechanics of the camera and the mood of images.

This element of what I do takes up just a small aspect of my creative work, it is perhaps the fact I cannot seem to conquer it that means I keep returning to it again and again, unable to quite achieve what I want to.
